First weapon: finish the entire loop
The tutorial teaches one continuous chain: buy or collect the required material and parts, heat the metal at the forge, shape the blade at the anvil, quench it, sharpen it, then assemble the blade with a hilt and crossguard. Do not stop after the anvil—the blade is not a sellable finished weapon yet.

Turn the workshop into a shop
After crafting, buy or place a weapon display, put the finished weapon on it, and open for business. The demo explicitly separates “having a weapon” from “running an open shop,” so forgetting the open/close state can make the room feel broken even when the crafting side is working.

Do not mass-craft blind
Part pieces can carry different bonuses. Once you have access to more than the tutorial components, inspect what each part contributes before assembling. A full rack of low-demand weapons ties up your money and display space.
Good first goal: make a few clean weapons, sell them, then use the cash to test new parts instead of filling every open surface immediately.

If the day feels stalled
- Shop open?
- A finished weapon actually on a display?
- Enough gold left for material + hilt + guard?
- Current popular attributes checked before buying more parts?
